Winning BLW GmbH becomes the first customer of Georgsmarienhütte GmbH to be supplied with 100% Green Power Steel
The insolvency administrator of the automotive supplier BOLTA-WERKE, Volker Böhm of Schultze & Braun, has sold the company’s business operations to a strategic investor. The buyer is the Winning Group a.s., through its subsidiary Winning Plastics a.s., a German-Czech industrial group specialising in automotive and construction.
The Construction segment announced a record year, new acquisitions with top products are being added to the Automotive section, and operational excellence has been implemented by a dedicated team across the board.
After sales plummeted due to the global chip crisis, the companies in the PWK Group (Presswerk Krefeld GmbH & Co. KG and PWK IBEX GmbH) were forced to file for insolvency under self-administration in October 2021. The traditional company, whose history dates back to 1898, manufactures and designs components and special parts for the automotive industry with the production steps of forming and further processing at four locations (Krefeld, Schönbrunn, Zittau and Gelenau) with around 500 employees.

Successful sale of Räuchle GmbH & Co. KG: The insolvent automotive supplier from Dietenheim will be taken over by the German-Czech Winning Group a.s. on May 1st, 2022. Thanks to the new owner, Räuchle’s business operations will continue under the newly founded company “Winning CoFo – Räuchle GmbH”.
Winning Group a.s. acquired through its subsidiaries (Winning Plastics) the assets of Linden GmbH and Sächsische Metall- und Kunstoffveredlungs GmbH (SMK) from the insolvency administrator heading the regular insolvency proceedings of both companies. Part of the transaction is also the 100% share in the Czech operations of Linden s.r.o. in Hustopece.
Winning Group and EP industries have bought the German company SONA BLW in a joint venture. It will be integrated into the existing company holding under the name Winning Automotive.
Winning Group a.s. and EP Industries a.s. established a joint venture via the company Winning Automotive a.s. Both partners jointly control the company, each of them holding 50% of voting rights whereas Winning Group nominated the company’s CEO and further supports the day to day business.
